The 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), the 11.5g Diamond
& the 11.5g Suited poker chips

We are sent a large volume of emails regarding our 11.5g Dice Design Poker Chips, 11.5g Diamond Poker Chips and our 11.5g Suited Poker Chips. The number one question we are asked is:
"Are these CLAY'' Poker Chips?".

Due to the popularity of poker chips and the hundreds of websites selling these poker chips as well as the thousands of offline retail locations where these chips can be purchased, we felt it prudent to address this question and to let all customers and potential customers, know just exactly what the
11.5 Dice, 11.5g Diamond and 11.5g Suited poker chips are made of.

The 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), 11.5g Diamond & the 11.5g Suited poker chips have a heavy metal insert that gives the chip the weight. The chip is much heavier than most other chips. Therefore, we call these Dice chips SUPER HEAVYWEIGHT poker chips.

While they are the same average size, 39mm, and have the style of casino poker chips, we cannot advertise these as CLAY or CLAY COMPOSITE poker chips and besides, it's against state & federal laws to falsely advertise a product as being something it's not.

You will see the same 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), 11.5g Diamond & the 11.5g Suited poker chips we sell, advertised on other websites as CLAY or CLAY COMPOSITE poker chips...THEY ARE NOT CLAY or CLAY COMPOSITE. How do we know? We did three things:

ONE:
We took an industrial metal cutter and cut some sample 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), 11.5g Diamond & the 11.5g Suited poker chips, and found each one to have a metal insert. We could find no clay material at all. The metal insert is enclosed by an industrial strength plastic cover, in the colors you see advertised on our site. While it is not "milk jug" plastic, it is plastic none the less.

TWO:
We laid out all of the different types of poker and roulette chips we offer and, quite simply, ran a magnet over all of them. The magnet picked up ONLY THE 11.5g DICE, DIAMOND AND SUITED POKER CHIPS. The other chips did not react to the magnet.

THREE:
We contacted the manufacturer in Taiwan, ROC, and just asked them if the Dice chip had clay. They said NO, the 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), 11.5g Diamond & the 11.5g Suited DO NOT HAVE ANY CLAY AND ARE NOT EVEN CLAY FILLED and we should make sure NOT TO ADVERTISE THEM AS CLAY OR CLAY COMPOSITE POKER CHIPS, so we don't.

REMEMBER THIS: If a web site advertises these chips as clay, think twice before purchasing. If they're making this claim, what else are they claiming?

With this said, the 11.5g Dice Border (AKA: Dice Design), 11.5g Diamond & the 11.5g Suited poker chips are EXCELLENT poker chips, with a heavy feel that will surely spruce up you weekly poker game. They just are not clay.
